Who? Whiplash is an uncompromising modern craft brewery from Dublin. They don’t have a specific field of expertise, although they are best known for their hoppy beers. And their beautiful cans, which are so mesmerizing that sometimes it’ll slightly scare you.
Why us? The folks at Garage Brewing put us in touch with Whiplash, much like a blind date set up by friends. After tasting their beers, we knew that these are people who believe that quality always prevails, and that a good brewery should grow organically. Make good beer, and the rest will follow.
Kristof’s favorite beer: “The Sup, a 5% porter. A simple beer without too many frills, but that is what Whiplash is all about. Quality over circus.”
Joos’ favorite beer: “Jungle Window, an IPA of 7%. The real craftsmanship at Whiplash is in the IPAs, especially in their balance and hop dosage. I love IPAs, but I don’t want to be so blown away that I have to open a window when I open the can.”
