Who? At Tack is Karel Tack, a beer sommelier and enthusiast from Tongeren. From home brewing to driving back and forth to the Czech Republic with a self-built trailer (with cooling) to get fresh hops. That’s Karel in a nutshell.
Why us? Karel is the cousin of Kristof Tack, head honcho at Gobsmack. They homebrewed together and Kristof was delighted to see Karel evolve into a full-fledged beer producer. So it was only a matter of time before they started working together.
Kristof and Joos’ favorite beer: “Legatus, a blend of Ambassadeur tripel with 9.5% lambic. I helped create that beer myself, and I am very happy with it.”
